Dangiwacha town is located on the extreme edge of district Baramulla.On the north of this town is district Kupwara and on the west is Uri Boniyar. The Dangiwacha area has many geographical terrains with hiily deodar woods full of flora and fauna. The adjacent villages to Dangiwacha have the tremendous apple orchards. The Dangiwacha college caters the big catchment area consisting of around fifty villages mostly associated with horticulture and agricultural. It is the abode of springs. The Dangiwacha block has been divided into two CD blocks, one is Rafiabad and Kandi. It is the tehsil headquarter. All the tehsil level offices are located in the town.
